‘Rolling To Remember’ Launches Rider Community on REVER GPS App, Uniting Riders

As the official GPS app of Rolling to Remember, REVER users can easily connect, share locations and stay informed as they ride to raise awareness of the challenges facing our nation’s veterans.


WASHINGTON D.C., (February 24, 2020) – AMVETS has partnered with REVER to give Rolling to Remember riders a GPS app that will allow them to plan, track, and share their ride to Washington D.C. for the three day veteran demonstration May 22 to 24, 2020. As the official GPS app of Rolling to Remember, REVER will host several routes to the National Mall designed by motorcycle organizations across the country, including four cross-country rides organized by Run For The Wall. The Rolling to Remember community will also host meet up points and the official route around the National Mall on Sunday, May 24, 2020. Riders can download the app for free and join the Rolling to Remember community.


For the 33rd consecutive year, a massive motorcycle demonstration, now called Rolling to Remember, will take place in the Washington, DC over Memorial Day weekend to raise awareness of the plight of U.S. prisoners of war and the 82,000 service members still missing in action, as well as address the national suicide epidemic taking the lives of more than 20 military veterans a day.


“AMVETS is excited by the opportunity to collaborate with REVER and provide Rolling to Remember riders this enhanced traveling experience,” said AMVETS National Commander Jan Brown. “As we continue the tradition of this pro-veteran motorcycle ride, we want to offer those traveling here the ability meet up with fellow bikers and to communicate with all participants. We encourage all participants to download the app to make this ride as efficient and impactful as possible.”


Any user who joins the Rolling to Remember Community on REVER can :


● Stay up to date with featured rides, events and announcements


● Track their ride and record miles ridden.


● View, like, and comment on other users’ rides.


● Challenge other participants for top leaderboard positions.


“Working with the Rolling To Remember to provide a platform for discovering routes and providing event updates was an easy decision for us,” said REVER co-founder and president Justin Bradshaw.


Rolling to Remember registrants who sign up for REVER PRO by May 25, 2020 using the coupon code R2R2020 will receive a 25-percent discount off the annual membership price and REVER will make a one-time 25-percent donation to AMVETS programs that serve veterans and their families. REVER PRO is an upgraded version of the REVER app that allows turn-by-turn and voice navigation, custom in-app ride planning, weather radar and alerts, and more.
